The wine is produced from a single plot planted with 90% Pinot Noir and 10% white juice Gamay. The soil is composed of clay-limestone and limestone. The average age of the vines is 75 years old, which naturally limits yields.

The vines are produced from 85-year-old vines. A high proportion of the old selection of "golden Aligoté" imparts a rich and powerful wine with a mineral finish.

The 65-year-old plat of 48 ares, is cultivated with massal selection. The plot is located just below the 1st growth Les Suchots. Here, the limestone base descends to limestone with Entroques. The clay-limestone soils are deeper (between 60 and 80 cm thick) than in other Vosne-Romanée "village" plots. More fertile, they facilitate easier vine nourishment. The plot is frequently grass-covered to encourage the roots to delve into the limestone substrate.

The 36.50 ares plot, planted in 1988, lies above the 1st growth parcels of Les Brulées, La Combe-Brulée, and La Montagne. Its cool hilltop position between 320 to 340 meters altitude and southern exposure give to the wine a lively character. The rocky soil, just a few centimeters thick, imparts the distinctive mineral tension of the terroir.

The 85-year-old old vines of La Combe-Brulée (52 ares) produce a complex wine. Located in a small enclosed valley, the slow grape-ripening, influenced by a unique microclimate, combines coolness from the combe's bottom and warmth from the slope stones. The limestone-chert soil contributes to the cuvée's often-present smoky and flinty notes.

This 22 ares’s plots of a vineyard with 35-year-old vines for two-thirds and a small section with vines over 70 years old. The vineyard is located at the foot of the slope upstream from the Grand Cru route at the village exit, just before Mazis-Chambertin. Far from the earthy character often attributed to the crus of this village, this 1er Cru Les Corbeaux benefits from the cool air flows of the Lavaux combe, providing balance and finesse.

A small plot of 15 ares, with vines over 75 years old for two-thirds and 30 years old for the remaining part. It is located north of the village of Chambolle-Musigny above Les Beaux Bruns, below Bonnes-Mares. The vineyard has been cultivated by Bruno Clavelier since 2008. The Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Les Noirots produces wines of beautiful density with power and velvety tannins.

Plot of 81.55 ares with vines over 75 years old for half, plus a quarter of 20-year-old vines. The remaining part was replanted in 2010 and won't be used in the blend for several years. Ideal location facing east, protected from cold winds. Complex soil with oolitic limestone and quartzose limestone. Adjacent to Petits-Musigny (a plot classified as AOC Grand Cru Musigny) it was classified as Tête de Cru before the phylloxera. It offers a noble profile, combining great finesse with mineral depth, all in verticality, in the martial spirit of its neighboring Musigny.

The domain's plot covers 49.60 ares in the middle part of the cru with East-Southeast exposure. The 65 years old vines were planted through massal selection just after the Second World War. The vineyard is well-ventilated, sun-soaked, with ample brightness. The soil, composed of red ocher clay and stones, reaches a depth of 30 to 40 cm, resting on a substrate that combines oolithic limestone and harder limestone (Comblanchien/Prémeaux) appearing in some places. The pronounced stoniness and slope ensure excellent drainage.

A small plots of 29.50 ares with vines over 65 years old is situated in the upper part of La Combe-Brulée. The limestone base is composed of chert limestone (Prémeaux limestone). The presence of gravel allows a rapid warming. Coupled with a pronounced slope, it provides a good drainage capacity, enabling the vines to thrive in humid years. This plot benefits from both the warmth of its south-southeast exposure and the coolness created by the air current descending from the mountain into the combe. This balanced situation produces an elegant wine. Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru Les Brulées is often the most subtle premier cru in the cellar.

A small plot of 25 ares, taken over in 1994, from a vineyard of over 75 years. The location is on the hillside facing east. The climate is in the upper part (250 meters in altitude) of the 1er cru area at the border of Vosne-Romanée. The soil is composed of small gravels (laminated screes) that warm quickly at the slightest ray of sunshine. The wine possesses the characteristic structure of Nuits-Saint-Georges, but the tannins remain elegant, indicating the proximity to Vosne-Romanée. Nuits-Saint-Georges 1er Cru Aux Cras is flavorful and dynamic, always with a beautiful balance.

The plot, facing east, covers 34 ares halfway up the slope between 270 and 280 meters in altitude. It consists of two-thirds of vines aged 70 years and one-third aged 35 years. Acquired in 1999, the vineyard underwent significant work to encourage the root system to rediscover the mineral depth of the soil. Located a few kilometers further south than other crus, the plot is always harvested two or three days earlier. This grand cru has a noticeably different expression compared to other cuvées of the domain situated in the Côte de Nuits. The more tender, more weathered marly limestones of the Oxfordian, which form the soil's base, add to the wine harmonious and polished tannins, along with good acidity.
