La VR (Vermentino & Roussanne)

Bringing together the vibrant Vermentino and the nuanced Roussanne, this wine harmonizes the distinct traits of these esteemed grape varieties. This union of half-Vermentino grapes, known for their zesty acidity and citrus notes, with the delicate charm of Roussanne, famed for its aromatic complexity and honeyed richness, results in a wine that captivates with its depth, balance, and finesse.

The wine undergoes gentle aging in stainless steel vats, allowing the unique characteristics of each grape variety to shine through. The final product is a wine of exceptional poise, where the vivacity of Vermentino intertwines seamlessly with the opulence of Roussanne, delivering a sensory experience that is both dynamic and refined.

Domaine Anne Gros &

Jean Paul Tollot

Minervois

Renowned Burgundian winemaker Anne Gros, along with her husband Jean-Paul Tollot, embarked on a Languedoc adventure in 2007, acquiring vineyards on clay-limestone and sandstone soils in Cazelles, at the crossroads of Minervois and Saint-Chinian appellations.

Their inaugural vintage in 2008 marked the beginning of a journey that swiftly positioned their estate as a major player in Minervois.

Anne Gros and Jean-Paul Tollot's collaboration brings forth a unique approach, blending their expertise with the terroirs of Languedoc, particularly in the Causse region of Minervois.

With a meticulous focus on vineyard cultivation and grape sensitivity, they craft exceptional cuvées that showcase the distinctiveness of each terroir.

Their estate spans three distinct terroirs: Cote du Brian, Minervois, and Minervois Cazelles. Embracing varietals like Carignan, Syrah, Grenache, Cinsault, and Marselan, thriving in clay-limestone, marl, and sandstone soils, Gros and Tollot offer a portfolio boasting cuvées like 50/50, La Ciaude, and Les Combettes, each exuding character and finesse.
