Morey Saint Denis 1er Cru "Aux

Cheseaux"

The name "Les Cheseaux" comes from the Latin "casale" (building plot) used in the Gallo-Roman era. It generally refers to ruins, with remaining stones.

The origin is shared with Les Echezeaux and Les Grand Echezeaux.

The disintegration of the bedrock has created a blend of clay-limestone marls with white stones.

Domaine Arlaud

Morey-Saint-Denis

Established in 1942 through the union of Renée Amiot a Burgundian and Joseph Arlaud, an Ardèche native.

Joseph expanded their vineyard holdings in 1949, and in 1966, they acquired a 14th-century historic site for wine aging, now featured on their label.

Hervé Arlaud took over the leadership from his father in 1983, collaborating with his wife Brigitte to expand the vineyard.

Their children joined the family business from 2004 to 2012. Since 2013, Cyprien Arlaud has managed the 15-hectare estate with 19 appellations, including esteemed Grand Crus like Clos de la Roche and Charmes Chambertin.

The historic cellar in Nuits Saint Georges, echoing three generations of Burgundian hospitality now hosts a collection of aged vintages, while the more recent winery and barrel aging cellars are located in Morey-Saint-Denis
